After considerable sweeping of our bug tracker, here's the compiled list of features targeted at the next minor release. It's mostly about small/incremental improvements in usability. If you know of small fixes which would yield equally significant usability improvements, feel free to file a bug.

YIM
In the next Sameplace, you should add support for Yahoo! Instant Messenger as it is one of the most used instant messengers. Other than that, I LOVE it...
I agree...yahoo is the most
I agree...yahoo is the most used for business it seems!

Hmmm been sitting here for the last 30 mins waisting time thinking yahoo is on this addon.. Removed
There is already support for Yahoo, with right jabber server.
Yahoo, MSN and others can be reached by using a Jabber server with a transport to those and other protocols. Then it will be like they are using Jabber (nearly). No need to make this client harder to develop by adding other protocols.
What should be improved is an ability to look/search which resources there are on a server. Like looking for which multi user chat rooms is available on a server. As it is now, you have to guess. And no, a web link to another web page is not good enough. You can be using a Jabber server on a private net. All servers are not public.
So this is my wish list is.
Making it a real Sidebar ?
Can it be integrated with real sidebar ?
Same here :)
XMPP is good but yahoo is what everyone uses :) And no yahoo, no IM. removed.
Unfortunately not, "real"
@Jigar:
Unfortunately not, "real" sidebars lose their content whenever they're hidden. I assume you don't want to lose your chats every time you hide SamePlace. :)
Update: I just landed a patch which simulates the sidebar behaviour. Hope it helps.
